Thanks for being here. If you're on this page it's because you chose to pick up something from me. That's what's up.

I want to take a second and tell you who I am and what I do. I'm a father, a husband and a son, and I'm deeply obsessed with music and making it. This site, these drums, this music, it's a big part of my life. It's how I take care of my family and it's one of the things that keeps me sane.

Couple things I want to make clear. This is me. The site, the breaks, the art, the videos, the copy on these pages, all of it. It's not a company and it's not a team. It's one very likely slightly autistic dude in his garage doing the deepest dive he can on every detail of the process. I've given a major chunk of my adult life to this art form. For better or worse I'm locked in.

I've been studying cinematography for over a decade. I've been building studios since the early 2000s. And I've been trying to get an Adult Swim bump since Toonami was playing Inuyasha. I'm really one of those.

I taught myself to play instruments because I wanted to make the records I was sampling so I could sample them. Took pretty much every dollar I've made and put it into gear. Built a 1970s recording studio in my garage. Tape machine and all.

I don't come from money. I went into the military out of high school and got out after three years. I've been outside. I worked corporate. For the last ten years I've been finding my way through music and community.
