Break of the Day: Guaranteed Clearance License

By downloading this break, you ("Licensee") agree to the following terms.

1. What you get

A non-exclusive, worldwide license to use this break in your own original musical works, commercial or non-commercial. Load it, chop it, flip it, process it. No further clearance request is needed if you follow these terms. That is the guarantee.

2. Credit

All releases that use this break, at any size, must credit STLNDRMS. For releases under Section 4, the required credit line is "Additional production by STLNDRMS" in the official credits (liner notes, streaming credits, or metadata).

3. Releases under 1,000,000 streams

For any release whose combined streams across all platforms remain under 1,000,000, no fees and no royalties are owed. Credit per Section 2 is the only requirement.

4. Major releases (1,000,000+ streams or label/sync placement)

For any release that passes 1,000,000 combined streams, or is released through a major label or placed in sync (film, TV, games, advertising), Licensee agrees to:

(a) the credit line "Additional production by STLNDRMS"; and
(b) payment to Licensor of ten percent (10%) of Licensee's own share of income from the release, including advances, fees, royalties, publishing, and sync income.

5. What you cannot do

You may not resell, redistribute, or give away this break as-is, in whole or in part, including inside any sample pack, kit, loop library, or generative/AI training dataset. The license covers use inside your own finished musical works only. This license is non-transferable.

6. Ownership

Licensor retains all ownership of the underlying recording. This is a license, not a sale or transfer of the master.

7. No warranty beyond clearance

The clearance guarantee in Section 1 applies only when the terms above are met. Use outside these terms is unlicensed.
